A Walk for Life, Hope and Community Solidarity,
Miami Beach is preparing to walk for a cause that touches us all: the fight against cancer.
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Miami Beach and South Florida community is invited to participate in the second edition of the Miami Beach Cancer Walk, a community event dedicated to bringing people together around cancer awareness, prevention, solidarity and support for those affected by the disease.
The event will begin at Altos Del Mar Park, in the North Beach area, at 9:00 a.m. The walk will take place along the beach and boardwalk area between 76th and 88th Streets, transforming the Miami Beach landscape into the setting for a day dedicated to life, hope and community unity.
Walking to Raise Awareness
More than a sporting activity, the Miami Beach Cancer Walk represents a call to community action. Its purpose is to raise funds, increase awareness and bring hope to those facing cancer, as well as to survivors, families and loved ones who accompany them throughout their journey.
According to the event information, funds raised will benefit the Mount Sinai Cancer Medical Center, an institution dedicated to the care and treatment of cancer patients.
The initiative is organized by Open Hearts Women Together, an organization committed to bringing communities together in the fight against cancer through an experience that combines nature, physical activity, wellness and solidarity.
An Experience for the Entire Community

Meet our 2026 Miami Beach Cancer Walk GRAND MARSHALL Charlotte Libov. Charlotte is an award-winning medical journalist, speaker and author of Cancer Survival Guide, who has spent decades writing and speaking about cancer, heart disease and advances in medicine. Now a breast cancer patient herself, she brings her experience as both journalist and patient to advocating for access to high-quality cancer care. She is honored to serve as Grand Marshal of the Miami Beach Cancer Walk.

Una caminata por la vida, la esperanza y la solidaridad comunitaria
Miami Beach se prepara para caminar por una causa que nos toca a todos: la lucha contra el cáncer.
El próximo domingo 27 de septiembre de 2026, la comunidad de Miami Beach y del sur de Florida está invitada a participar en la segunda edición del Miami Beach Cancer Walk, una jornada dedicada a unir a la comunidad en torno a la prevención, la concientización, la solidaridad y el apoyo a las personas afectadas por el cáncer.
El encuentro tendrá como punto de partida Altos Del Mar Park, en el área de North Beach, y comenzará a las 9:00 a. m. La caminata se desarrollará en el entorno de la playa y el boardwalk, entre las calles 76 y 88, convirtiendo el paisaje de Miami Beach en el escenario de una jornada dedicada a la vida, la esperanza y la unión comunitaria.
Caminar para crear conciencia
Más que una actividad deportiva, Miami Beach Cancer Walk representa un llamado a la acción comunitaria. Su propósito es recaudar fondos, crear conciencia y brindar esperanza a quienes enfrentan el cáncer, así como a los sobrevivientes, familiares y seres queridos que acompañan cada etapa de este proceso.
De acuerdo con la información del evento, los fondos recaudados serán destinados al Mount Sinai Cancer Medical Center, institución dedicada a la atención y tratamiento de pacientes con cáncer.
La iniciativa es desarrollada por Open Hearts Women Together, organización comprometida con unir a las comunidades en la lucha contra el cáncer mediante una experiencia que integra naturaleza, actividad física, bienestar y solidaridad.
Una experiencia para toda la comunidad
